This page is all about us, Sheila Ellis and David Ledger, and our pledge to you.
- To create the very best ceremony for you and those closest to you.
- To provide a highly personal service, with every detail planned and discussed until you are happy. We will never rush you.
- To uphold the standards expected of us as members of the Fellowship of Independent Celebrants.
We are Sheila Ellis and David Ledger. We met following our individual spiritual paths and our relationship blossomed from those discussions!
We both enjoy nature, especially on the woodland and coastal walks that we take together along with our two Tibetan terriers.
Although we love all ceremonies we are passionate about Handfasting Ceremonies where the couple and guest connect with the spirit of the land and the ancestors. We celebrated our own Handfasting ceremony in the middle of the labyrinth in their garden in Kent surrounded by their family and friends.
A Yorkshire lass by birth, Sheila spent several years in Cornwall and North Lincolnshire before finally settling down in Kent.
Sheila believes there is nothing more moving than a couple expressing their love for one another before friends and family. Helping couples to make a lasting memory for, not only themselves, but for all their witnesses o their unique ceremony.
David is not just a celebrant, he is also a funeral guide. As a celebrant and drawing on his interest in nature and all things spiritual, David works with bereaved families to create special ceremonies to help say goodbye.
David brings out the positive elements of people and their experiences, drawing them together into a beautifully-crafted ceremony.
He has experience of life and maturity on his side, and will take all the time needed to get everything right. But there is much more to his work and he has a passion to help and give advice on all aspects of funerals.
